Simple Salt-dough Medals

We made Simple Salt-dough Medals with the kids for our different Winter (we haven't seen any snow this year) Olympic Games, we played over the past few weeks. The kids got to use paint, glue and glitter to make their medals, but winning one was by far the most exciting part for the kids!

If you don't know how to make Salt-Dough:
1/2 cup of salt
1/2 cup of warm water
1 cup of flour
Mix the salt and flour together -stir in the water adding it slowly (You may not need all of the water. You want the dough to be dry, if it gets sticky add more flour.) Knead the dough and then roll out.
We use a circle cookie cutter to make the medals, poked a hole in the top and put in the oven on a low temp until dry- SIMPLE!
For older kids check out these cool medals @ Paging SuperMom
