The Book Monster Review - Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin and Illustrated by Eric Carle

Hi guys- Book Monster here again!

This month I wanted to share a classic with you. It's a must read and a perfect addition to your child’s personal library. The title of this book is called Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? Written by Bill Martin and Illustrated by Eric Carle. It is one of my personal favourites.

Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? is a winner because it provides different learning aspects, including colours, animals and rhyming; as well as allowing children to embrace and have fun reading. This book is a classic that never dies. Throughout the generations preschool teachers, parents and carers have loved reading the singsong text to their little monsters.
Toddler’s and pre-schoolers can  learn so much from Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?. It is a book that prides itself on repetition at its best, vibrant colours and classic animals. Teachers can base a whole lesson plan around this book, and parents can help their child learn basic core knowledge about the world around them through the rhythmic story and boldly coloured collages.
There is one hidden message that I love in this story, and that is the artwork Eric Carle has created. His passion for colour and art really stands out on each page, and he's able to introduce art to children through own his personal style. From an inquisitive brown bear to a plump purple cat, your little monsters will engage their imaginations and a new artist will be born!
Make sure you have this book in your little monsters collection.
