Gold Glitter an Ginger Playdough

Making playdough with your little monster is a great way to get them involved in the kitchen in a fun and playful way, while developing key skills such as arithmetic and small gross motor skills (Check out Little Monsters in the Kitchen for more info). After that activity is done (it doesn't take long to make playdough), your little monster can engage in hours of creativity and imagination.
Add a few tools to their play:
Cookie Cutters
Rolling Pins
Cutlery, Plates, Bowls
Small World Toys
Dried Food
Buttons, Shells, Pincones, Flowers
As it's December 1st, it's time to Christmas up your playdough and get your little monster's 5 senses working and there's no better way then adding a little ginger and a lot of gold glitter!! Your little monster can explore the holiday seasons, though role play - making cookies, gingerbread men, a gingerbread house, pies and more. It's a great simple play activity for those rainy days. Leave it out on the table for a few hours for your little monsters to come and go, this allows them to explore and play on their own time and homemade playdough is so cheep to make, you don't have to worry about it drying out.
