Handmade Elf and Santa Glitter Christmas Cards

Making Christmas cards is a great way to get your little monster involved in the Holiday Season and show off their creative side! Our little monsters loved making these Elf and Santa Glitter cards for their mums and dads last year, so we thought we'd make a free printable for you and your little monster to create your very own.

What you need:
Marc's Free Christmas Card Printable
Glue Stick
Any Colour Card
Gold and/or Sliver Pen:
Pilot Gold and Silver Metallic Permanent Markers, Extra Fine Point, Set of 2 Markers (41400)(USA) Pilot Supercolour Paint Marker Pen Pack of 2 - Gold and Silver (UK)
Googly Eyes:
BLACK AND WHITE WIGGLE EYES 100 ASSORTED SELF ADHESIVE 7MM 10MM AND 15MM EYES X43 (UK)Watch them wiggle eyes, Black(500 PIECES) - BULK (USA)
 Glitter:

ArtSkills Glitter Shakers (USA)

What to do:
Cut out the Elf and or Santa for your small little monster or help them to cut it out. For bigger monsters, try and let them do this themselves- it's not going to be perfect, but remember it's their card!

Fold your card in half. Using the Sliver or Gold pen and draw a square or circle on the front. This gives your little monster an area to put the glue on- let them spread the glue around, helping them to keep it inside the square or circle.

Let your little monster put on their Elf or Santa and the googly eyes- you can talk about where things usually are- "the hat sits on his head at the top and his shoes are at the bottom", but other than that try and let your little monster do it themselves. Again- it might not be perfect, but it's their creation!

Help them to dump some glitter onto the sticky glue area, shaking it around to cover all the glue. Shake off the extra glitter and leave to dry.
