Craft for the Weekend - Absorption Science Experiment

Each Friday we aim to bring you an easy to do activity at home for the weekend! We know sometimes there's hours in the day you just don't know what to do with- so follow along and let us help make those hours fun and productive for your little monster! We try and pick activities that use materials you might already have in the house or can get from a quick pop into the shops! Hope you find these simple activities useful!!

We're loving this simple and fun Absorption Science Water Experiment from Little bins for little hands. Absorption science is fun and easy to set up for kids! Water science experiments make great hands on play learning activities too! Quick water science experiments are perfect anytime! Another favourite water absorption science experiment uses a variety of household materials to teat absorption!

You should have all you need already:
sponges, a pan, squeeze bottle, baster, mini scoops or measuring cup and an extra bowl.

For more fun, put the sponges outside over night and let it freeze (if it's cold enough where you are)!!
