Where is the Green Sheep? - Story Sack Fun

Where is the Green Sheep? is not only a great bed time reading book, but also a book for your little monsters to start exploring positions, size, colours and asking where questions. To create your own Where is the Green Sheep? story sack, you might already have toys around the house- Any and all size and shape sheep will do! Your little monsters can use the different sheep to be UP, Down, Near, Far or a Moon Sheep. (We added coloured bowls to the sheep we found around the house and in the charity shops.)
We also added a fun sheep counting game from The Basket, Sheep role-play masks from Sparkle Box and a great printable from Speech Lady Liz you and your older little monsters can play with.

I did a mash-up of Harugurumi's and All About Ami  amigurumi sheep to create the Red, Blue and Green Sheep that mentioned in the book OR buy a green sheep doll here:

Story sacks are a great way to get your little monster interacting with books on so many different leaves: role play, imagination, literacy, large and small gross motor skills. Story sacks are easy to make and don't have to be expensive! The supporting materials are there to help stimulate your little monsters language and make reading a more memorable and pleasurable experience (More great information about putting together a story sack)!
